  I'm a huge pizza enthusiast and this place hasn't let me down the few times I've been there. Friendly staff, good service and delicious pizza, definitely worth a try.

  I've become accustomed to a fairly high bar when it comes to taste in pizza. I owe this to my fellow Yelp elite pal, Brian L. Unfortunately, there isn't a Prince Street Pizza on every Maryland street corner. What we have seen pop up in some of Montgomery County's foodie and shopping spots is &pizza!
  
  I would equate how &pizza operates to a Chipotle or Cava style line service, except for PIZZA! There is a very chill vibe once you open the doors to this location, which is on the end corner of Downtown Crown, right next to my other fav spot here, Mezeh! They have a menu of specialty pizzas you can choose from, but otherwise, it's a free-for-all. You can get pretty creative with their crusts and topics, and they have gluten-free and vegan options.
  
  First, you start with the crust, which ends up a sort of rectangle shape. Then, a sauce. Next up is an array of toppings, including cheeses, meats, veggies, and fruits (yes, PINEAPPLE IS AVAILABLE AND IT'S DELICIOUS ON PIZZA). It goes in the oven from there, then there are more topping options when it comes out, including peppers, pesto, and Mike's Hot Honey (BIG recommend). They have their own in-house soda creations that are all pretty delicious as well.
  
  There is one giant bench seat that can fit a few groups as well as one smaller table that can fit one group as far as indoor seating. There is plenty of outdoor seating at Downtown Crown, which is usually where I end up with my friends. I come here once every couple months and always leave satisfied, as most of the staff is super friends and the pies are above average.

  Caveat: I like this restaurant. I like their pizza. Unlimited toppings is amazing, you can craft any pizza your heart desires. The sauces are excellent, the toppings are fresh, it's quick and the crust is just the right texture.
  Now you're thinking, "huh, what's with the two star review?"
  
  Don't order delivery. Never, ever order delivery from &pizza.
  Half of the ingredients I requested were missing, a quarter of the pie has no toppings. Very disappointing, coming from a restaurant that I know can do so much better.

  Initially I didn't have high hopes for &pizza simply due to the fact that you can order a custom pizza, created from scratch and have it hot and fresh in less than ten minutes. Imagine a Chipotle or Cava style ordering process. You pick your dough, you choose a sauce, you select cheese, and then add any number of toppings you like. They throw it through a conveyor belt like Quiznos and you have a few more post oven topping choices at the end of the process. I enjoy the variety of options they have here. I mix it up each time I go and have yet to have a bad experience. The pizza isn't as good as a fresh slice in New York City but it's inexpensive, fast, and holds its own in the fast food pizza game. The Table styles are communal at this specific location, I'm not sure if the set up is like that across all stores. There's a small outdoor seating area as well. There is street parking and a parking garage attached to the restaurant. The employees have always been friendly and move quickly. I have no problem with this place.

  Friendly and funny staff. After getting two eggs added to my gluten free bread and dairy free vegan cheese, which tastes almost just like traditional pizza, the associate cracked open the eggs and said "male or female". I couldn't breathe, was laughing so hard. I'm now a fan and converted of this place.
  
  Grab your favorite unlimited toppings, minus shrimp, and enjoy this treat they call &Pizza . I also suggest trying the Lemongrass Peach unsweetened tea.
